Twin Oak Animal Hospital

Dr Feaga is an excellent vet. She tries to be aware of how much medicine and remedies cost and tries to save you some money. She is less prone to engage in up-selling or pushing expensive treatments. I appreciate that. She has less overhead so she can afford to take the less expensive route. Her office is in her basement.

Doc Feage is the best vet!!

Never again. I drove 45 minutes to take my dog to Dr. Feaga for the first time. In entering the office the smell of urine was so overpowering it made my eyes burn and was hard to breathe. The floor was dirty. We were 15 minutes late due to not realizing how long the drive would be. I said i was sorry that I had misjudged the distance, and the doctor told her staff it was a problem because someone else was coming and they had been delayed by a previous pet owner who took a long time talking. Her assistant told her it was ok but by then i was so nauseous from the smell in the cramped basement that served as a office i said forget it. I could not breathe in there it was like walking into a vat of rancid urine. I did not want my dog to even walk on that floor. I turned to my friend and said lets go when Dr Feaga started arguing with me telling me to sit down on one of the low benches in the foyer, which i said no, I am leaving. I turned to leave when the vet rushed up to me with her arm outstretched as if to grab me as i was reaching for the door. She startled me. I told her not to "blank" touch me and walked out. I am truly sorry for the word I used, I was startled by her movement toward me when all i wanted to do was try to get out of there so i could breathe and not expose my friend or dog further to the smell. The smell was disgusting. No apparent ventilation in the cramped basement being used as exam room, office and waiting area. I had heard her fees were less than most vets in the area but definately not worth it given the toxic smell of urine that permeated the place or her behavior. My eyes burned for the whole ride home. I felt physically ill. No way would I subject my dog to that regardless of how good the vet may be or how low the fees. I also was informed she is only open Monday to Thursday, not Fridays or weekends or evenings. I regret the word I used in that situation. For that I am truly sorry. I have been around farm animals, horses in barns, worked in nursing homes, visited zoos, cleaned up after babies, puppies, visited dog shelters, all sorts of smelly stuff. This was by far the worst urine smell I can remember.

Been going to Wendy for years! Love her and all the staff!❤️

My family has been taking our pets there for over 30+ years. They care for your pets as much as you do. Thank you.
