20 years ago I used to live here and brought my dog here. The vets and the care I received there has yet to be matched. I would move back to MD just so my current dogs could have access to this place.

My five stars were given 9 years ago. I never left a written review then, so its time to update it now. Still 5 stars! They have been there, by our side, for almost 10 years, loving our pets as much as we do. If you are lucky enough to be seen here, you'll be family for life.

I have been taking my pibble here for years and I love the care that I receive everytime. Every vet and vet tech has been very knowledgeable and empathetic. Prices are reasonable especially for Howard county.

We have been clients of Dunloggin Veterinary Hospital for years and have always had excellent care from Dr. Connie Gibbons. It is genuinely difficult to write this review because of that history. On February 28th, my husband brought in our 8-year-old dog — a remarkable animal who has survived a serious autoimmune condition for five years — to see Dr. Allison Shobe. We had specific concerns: increased pain and recurring episodes of incontinence. Dr. Shobe ran labs and told my husband she would follow up with results and her recommendations for medication changes. That was six weeks ago. We have never received a follow-up call. In the weeks since, I have called multiple times, left messages, and been told repeatedly that Dr. Shobe would be given the message. Last week I was told she had been on spring break and would call Thursday. It is now Friday. I called again this afternoon and was told she would call "right back" as soon as she finished with a patient. That was over an hour ago. This is a medically vulnerable, aging dog. The follow-up Dr. Shobe promised was not optional — it was part of his care plan. Whatever the reason for the communication breakdown, six weeks of silence after promising to call with lab results and treatment changes is not acceptable. I hope the practice leadership takes this seriously.
